Worship
Worship is our personal and corporate response to God, in spirit and in truth, for who He is and what He has done. It is expressed by what we say, sing and the way we live. Our Worship Ministry includes singing and playing instruments. We do not believe that singing praise to God in a church service is, in and of itself, worship. However, we do believe that singing praise to God is a command to all Psalm 66:1-2 and is a powerful way to respond to our God and King.
God created a need to worship within our souls. It is as natural for us to worship as it is to breathe. We are worshiping nearly all the time, even if we do not recognize it. We can find ourselves worshiping celebrities, our toys and assets, money, our hobbies, or anything that may take the focus away from God Almighty. We choose to worship something every day so it is important that we purposely choose to worship God our Father with our lifestyles and the choices we make.
The Bible give us many different examples of corporate physical expressions of praise and worship including bowing, kneeling, lifting hands, waving, singing, shouting, dancing and clapping. As we come together and worship corporately, you will see just that because we believe these expressions play an important role in our encounter with Jesus.
The worship team at Praise Church is a dedicated and gifted group of people, including musicians, vocalists, audio and visual engineers, and multimedia technicians who serve God by leading the congregation in exaltation of Him. We are committed to lead our congregation into passionate, genuine praise and worship.
