Volunteer
Our desire is to help believers discover how God has uniquely wired them with gifts, talents and passions and equip them to magnify God by serving in their church, city and world. Our hope is that we would cultivate the same attitude described in Philippians 2:3, doing "nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility counting others more significant than ourselves."
As you feel led to call Praise Church your church home, service will inevitably become a part of your life's worship. We pray that, in serving here, God would mature and strengthen our gifts and create in us a servant's heart that would bleed into all areas of our life.
Permit God to guide you to the ministry in which He has created and designed you to serve. Don't be afraid to step out and try something new. He will always enable you to do what He calls you to do.
The following are some questions to ask yourself to determine if you are experiencing the life God has for you in serving His church:
- Am I willing to answer the call to ministry, even in the smallest of ways?
- Am I using my time and talents to accomplish the ministry God has for me?
- Am I living a life of gratitude by joyfully donating a portion of my time and talent back to God?

Audio/Video
This ministry has several opportunities to serve in the church. The various ministries include sound, cd/dvd production, and video. This ministry not only touches those here on Sunday mornings, but it also reaches those who may not be able to attend, outside our walls.
Children
Our children’s ministry gives individuals the chance to touch the lives of our next generation with the Gospel of Jesus. It should be a high priority to reach children through the love of Christ. This ministry begins with 0-1 year old in the nursery, 2-3 years old in the toddler class, 4-kindergarten in Jr. K.I.D.S., 1st-4th grade in K.I.D.S. church and 5th-8th grade in the J.A.M. class.
Music
The worship ministry consists of individuals gifted musically and vocally, assisting and leading the members of Praise Church in to the presence of God, through song. Worship should be a result of being aware of who God is and what He has done. The worship team’s role is to assist the congregation in this awareness through their musical talents, as well as through living their lives before the members of Praise Church. Because of this, we ask that you become a member of Praise Church before considering joining this ministry.
Porters
The porters play a key role in creating an environment conducive for God’s presence each service, through prayer. They assist in keeping order in the House of God, and assist the members and visitors of Praise Church with various services. We ask those who serve in this ministry to be a member of Praise Church.
Holy Grounds Café
Holy Grounds serves coffee, espresso, hot chocolate, various other drinks and snacks to the members and visitors of Praise Church. It is an opportunity to serve the church by providing an atmosphere of fellowship and community before our weekly services.
Safety/Security
The safety/security team is a trained group of volunteers who are entrusted with the physical safety of the church’s members and visitors on a weekly basis. This ministry guards against security threats, provides initial response to any medical emergencies, and monitors for other potential safety threats to the church.
