David Matherne, Senior Pastor

Pastor David Matherne is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Praise Church in Littleton, Colorado. Praise Church is a flourishing, Spirit-filled, non-denominational church in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The church was founded on Psalm 150:6, “Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!”

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Pastor David graduated from Louisiana State University and entered the business world in the field of banking and finance. But God had other plans for him, saving him at the age of 28, and calling him into ministry shortly thereafter. He attended Ministers Training Institute, a full-gospel Bible school, in Baton Rouge. Pastor David has been in full time ministry since 1985, moving to Colorado in 1989, where he and his family pioneered Praise Church.

His preaching and teaching gifts are unique, in that, while practical and pastoral, they are at the same time, revelatory and life changing. Pastor David has a great desire to see the five-fold ministry come back into place, equipping the Saints to do the work of the ministry, thus allowing the apostolic move of God to come into full fruition in the earth.

Pastor David has traveled within the United States, as well as overseas, preaching and teaching an uncompromised message that Jesus Christ is still the answer for a world that is in need of answers.

Brad Matherne, Administrative Pastor

Pastor Brad Matherne has a rich heritage in ministry. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Brad began ministry at a very early age. At the age of 9, he began to play drums on the worship team at his father's church. It was during these formidable years that he began to learn the dynamics, principles, and responsibilities that are associated with full time ministry.

At the age of 18, while enrolled as a full time student in a school of ministry, Pastor Brad entered full time ministry formally by becoming the Youth Pastor of Praise Church. It was during this time that God began to cultivate character, revelation, and anointing in his life. God used him mightily during this season. Many young lives were impacted as a result of his ministry and much fruit remains still today.

In 2001, Pastor Brad assumed the position he presently holds as the Administrative Pastor of Praise Church. Pastor Brad serves with his father and mentor, Pastor David Matherne. God has continued to raise him up and use him as a mighty vessel of honor, as he preaches an uncompromised gospel of truth, with much revelation and anointing, giving him incredible seasoning for a man of his years.

Pastor Brad resides in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with his beautiful wife, Lisa, and his son, Hayden.
